Description
Original Fine Art Photography by Donna Kennedy..
I don't know the official name of this small, but exquisite Mission style chapel, but it is a marvelous building out in the middle of nowhere. Built by Judge William P. Clark. Clark was the National Security Advisor during President Ronald Reagan's term and later Secretary of the Interior.
Located just outside of Shandon on Highway 46 about 18 miles east of Paso Robles, CA Built in the style of a California mission, the chapel is small inside but well set up for meditation or small ceremonies. The ceiling is 14th century Spanish timber. It is a very steep walk up to the mission, but well worth it. Grape vineyards line the walkway from top to bottom. There is a paved road that leads to the parking lot behind the chapel, but the gate is locked during the week. 320
