I was out early just as the sun had come up on a cool Autumn morning to get some reflections in this pond, and just as I stepped out of the car and looked up I saw three deer. I was surprised as this is in a residential neighborhood, although rural. I scrambled to get my camera ready and managed to get this one and only photo. From the look on her face she seemed startled too! And then all three ran off and disappeared into the foothills. Early morning and evening are when deer are most active...Reno, Nevada
