The Durango and Silverton train passing over Twin Bridges and the Animas River in the beautiful San Juan mountain range, Durango, CO
This two-span, 222 ft steel deck plate girder bridge was installed in 1964 when the abutments under the original steel truss bridge (1884) seen in the background were deemed unsafe.
