Another day of train chasing, I selected my shooting location up on some rocks and started the waiting game enjoying the cool October morning. Later it was time for some cheese & peanut butter crackers when I joyfully hear that wonderful sound of freight engines coming around the bend, so down with the snacks and grabbing the camera I see my target, a BNSF train heading eastbound. This location is along the Truckee River near the Nevada/California state line.

BNSF is one of eleven North American Class I railroads and has 44,000 employees, 32,500 miles of track in 28 states, and more than 8,000 locomotives.
