The Cedar City Temple, which spans eight acres of land and is nestled on a hill overlooking Cedar City and the surrounding valley, is the 159th operating temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the 17th in Utah. It will serve 45,000 members in southern Utah and eastern Nevada. The 39,802-square-foot Mormon temple is visible from the north in the high desert of southern Utah. The sacred structure, made of precast concrete panels with sections of gypsum fiber reinforced concrete, stands more than 260 feet high, including a 13-foot-tall angel Moroni statue atop a cupola spire.
The Cedar City Utah Temple was dedicated on Sunday, December 10, 2017.

Powerful capture, Donna! The variegation of colors in the sky and the bright illumination from the setting sun makes this a most stunning image! L/F
