No animal has a more distinctive coat than the zebra. Each animals stripes are as unique as fingerprints, no two are exactly alike although each of the three species has its own general pattern. Mother zebras are very caring and protective mothers. Infant zebras (foals) are able to stand, walk and suckle shortly after birth, and will continue to drink their mothers milk for the first year of life.
Zebras are born with brown stripes which will turn black as they get older.
Photographed at Out of Africa Wildlife Park in Camp Verde, Arizona

Donna, this is a really splendid capture of the two zebras in a great setting. The background is stunning as is the foreground! Outstanding work! l/f
