I was feeding the birds at a local park and this young Steller's Jay (Cyanocitta stellari) swooped down to grab a peanut off the ground and landed on a nearby rock, and to my surprise it turned around, looked straight at me for a few seconds as if to say Thank You for the peanut, then flew away to a nearby Conifer tree to enjoy his snack! :)) Reno, Nevada 2014
