About Donna Kennedy
Having lived in the south (Florida & Mississippi) for 54 years my dream was to move out West which I did in 2008. I am in awe of this beautiful country that we call home, and photography has become a very important part of my life. Lighting and perseverance are top of the list, if it's having to hike for miles to get your shot, or waiting for hours in the freezing cold for a train, taking photos again and again of birds or wildlife to get that one beautiful capture, or being up at all hours of the night or early morning to get the full Moon or Milky Way. Lovely floral, Donna, love the beautiful colors and processing! This might be Spanish lavender (also known as French lavender), Lavandula stoechas. I have some growing in my yard. The showy blossoms attract butterfies, bees and other pollinators. F/L
