Sanibel Island is a barrier island off of Florida’s Gulf Coast across the causeway from Fort Myers. Captiva Island is just north of Sanibel Island. Captiva, a 10.5 square mile island, 5 miles long and half mile wide embraces unprecedented sunsets, alluring white sand beaches, dolphins, and manatees mixed with tropical vegetation.
