I chose a different pov to get a shot of this long BNSF train chugging along thru the many curves in the Sierra Nevadas as it was heading eastbound near Truckee, CA.
The BNSF Railway Company is one of the largest freight railroad networks in North America, second to the Union Pacific Railroad (UP), its primary competitor for Western U.S. freight. BNSF is one of eleven North American Class I railroads and has 44,000 employees, 32,500 miles of track in 28 states, and more than 8,000 locomotives. The BNSF Railway Company is the principal operating subsidiary of parent company Burlington Northern Santa Fe, LLC. Headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas, the railroad's parent company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway, Inc.
