Autumn at Silver Lake-June Lake Loop, CA

The intimate lakeside mountain village of June Lake, California is located on the southern rim of the Mono Basin in the Eastern Sierra along the paved, two-lane Highway 158, also known as the June Lake Loop. Nestled at the base of spectacular mountains at an elevation of 7,600 feet, June Lake offers 17 lodges, eight restaurants, four lakes, and endless opportunities for memory-making adventures. Exceptional trout fishing is available at all four lakes around the June Lake Loop – June Lake, Gull Lake, Silver Lake and Grant Lake. In the winter, June Mountain Ski Area is beloved by locals and visitors alike for its family-friendly atmosphere, diverse terrain and abundance of natural snow.
