The Quaking Aspen is named for its leaves, which shake easily in even a gentle breeze and produce a fluttering sound with only the slightest provocation.

Autumn is my favorite time of the year, I guess because of the beauty and how quickly it comes and goes. On this crisp chilly day at Tony Grove in Logan Canyon I spent over three hours walking amongst the Quaking Aspens. As I stood beneath the golden leaves of these mature trees I felt so much joy and peace. The smell of Autumn, the noise from the fluttering of the leaves, being all alone in this beautiful place is something everyone should experience. Aspens are not like other trees which grow from seeds, they spread from suckers that sprout from their existing root systems, the Aspen is a Clone. On my way home I was so thankful to have had such a perfect day, I will anxiously await for this beautiful season to come again. Life is beautiful, cherish it...
