Lenticular clouds with a flock of Mallard Ducks flying south just before Sunset. Reno, Nevada...
Lenticular clouds (Altocumulus lenticularis) are stationary lens-shaped clouds that form at high altitudes, normally in perpendicular alignment to the wind direction. Lenticular clouds can be separated into altocumulus standing lenticularis, stratocumulus standing lenticular, and cirrocumulus standing lenticular. Due to their shape, they have been offered as an explanation for some Unidentified Flying Object (UFO) sightings.

Spectacular capture of God's brush as he paints the sky with wide strokes of blues and mauves! Throw in a few Mallard Ducks and have on hand an awesome photographer and Voila! vf mm
