Magnolias are one of the most loved flowering trees for their stunning blooms and dramatic white, cream, pink or purplish flowers. They Bloom late February to April, with some blossoms reappearing throughout the summer months and possibly into winter. Color tends to fade with re-emerging flowers. The blooms are tulip-shaped and wonderfully fragrant and can last for up to eight weeks once they have opened.
The tree's gorgeous flowers are said to represent nobility and purity. They were traditionally included in bridal bouquets for this reason.
