I talked to the owner of this beautiful vintage car, and after hearing the story behind it I just had to share…
Eighteen year old Earl Muhlbaier never got the new Oldsmobile he ordered because he soon received other orders that requested his presence in the U.S. Army. Now, 60 years later he finally has that 1957 Super 88 he always wanted. A few months ago Earl and wife Norma were driving in their neighborhood one day and passed a garage with the door open, inside was this remarkably preserved Royal Glow and Alcay White hardtop tucked inside, still wearing it’s original paint, unrestored and looking brand new, with 58,000 original miles. After asking the owner if she would sell the car, they negotiated and Earl is now the proud owner of a dream from a long time ago. This car made June Cruiser of the Month for the Sun City Center Roamin’ Oldies.
