I was out at dark thirty this early Spring morning to catch some trains and upon my arrival of where I wanted to shoot, the Sun was just coming up over the mountains as I heard that wonderful train whistle in the distance. Sometimes you can sit for hours waiting, but today was train day! I grabbed the camera and ran across the tracks barely having time to set my camera when I see "7" engines coming my way. I love to hear the whistles and thunder as they pass by. I grew up with trains at the back of our rural property when I was a child, guess that's why I love them so much! At the end of the train I see 2 more engines, so this long train had a total of "9" engines :)) I was lucky this day as I saw a total of 6 different trains in 5 hours...Verdi, Nevada 0816
