Original Fine Art Photography and digital artwork by Donna Kennedy..
This is a logging wagon built in 1870 at Bassett Station in Yuba Pass. It was used to haul lumber to the Sierra Buttes mines with teams of Oxen. It is located at the railroad historic museum in Carson City, Nevada. Such hard work and so primitive when you think of the heavy hydraulic equipment and tractor trailers that are used today, yes we certainly have come a long way!
