The Honey bee is a widely distributed flying insect know for its ability to collect nectar from flowers and produce honey. Honey bees are mustard yellow and brown. They have stocky bodies that are covered with many hairs to which pollen adheres.
Honeybees are social insects. They live in large colonies that include a single adult queen bee and tens of thousands of female worker bees, whose numbers change with the seasons. The queen bee is the only bee that lays eggs. Male honeybees, called drones, are only seen during the spring mating season and hatch from unfertilized eggs. The female worker bees, on the other hand, hatch from eggs that have been fertilized by drones.
Lamb’s ear, is a perennial herb of the mint family (Lamiaceae), native to parts of the Middle East. Lamb’s ears are commonly grown as ornamentals for their attractive fuzzy leaves, which are reminiscent of the soft ears of young lambs. The simple oval leaves are bright green when young and mature to silver-green or white, depending on the density of the hairs. The small pink flowers are borne in clusters and produce nutlet fruits; some varieties rarely flower. The plants are drought tolerant and can rot in humid conditions.
