Queen's Garden Trail in Bryce Canyon is perhaps the most popular trail in the park, it intercepts with other Bryce Canyon hikes. The path passes along a multitude of magical design, and nature has left behind rock formations that boggle the mind with their stature and originality. Traveling this trail you will see many hoodoos, representative of garden like features. Using your imagination you may be able to see Queen Victoria at the end of a short spur trail, overseeing the garden before her. Sit in the shade of the trees at the trails end and make out the shape of the queen's dress as it billows, and gently touches the rocks below.
Queens Garden is the easiest trail that descends below Bryce Canyon's Rim. The trailhead is at Sunrise Point and you can hike down and back out OR connect with Navajo Loop Trail for a longer hike. Formations seen include Queens Castle and Queen Victoria. Trail extends 1.7 miles one way. Total elevation ascent/descent is only 320 feet. Most people take 1-2 hours to hike 1-way.
