Description
Original Fine Art Photography by my Sister-in-Law Debbie, textures and overlays edit by Donna Kennedy…Debbie had a bountiful crop of Blueberries this year, these are just a few of them..
Rabbiteye (Vaccinium virgatum) is a species of blueberry native to the Southeastern United States, from North Carolina south to Florida and west to Texas.
Blueberries were called “star fruits” by North American indigenous peoples because of the five-pointed star shape that is formed at the blossom end of the berry. A single blueberry bush can produce as many as 6,000 blueberries per year. This popular small fruit bears plenty of berries that are delightful when eaten fresh, used in pies, muffins, or pancakes, or added as a fruit topping for breakfast cereals. Blueberries can help heart health, bone strength, skin health, blood pressure, diabetes management, cancer prevention, and mental health.
